Insurance Info

We are out-of-network providers who offer direct insurance billing through Mentaya - a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you qualify, Mentaya will file claims, and handle all of the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed!

Having a private pay therapist means that you will have more control over your treatment. If you choose not to file for out of network benefits, you will not receive a mental health diagnosis and your session notes will not be submitted to an outside third party. We will be able to freely work together in a way that honors your unique situation and we can tailor our approach to best fit your needs.

Insurance does not cover Coaching or Consulting.

Single Case Agreements with Insurance Companies

We often succeed in establishing single-case agreements with our clients' health insurance providers. These single-case agreements, also known as out-of-network exception agreements, allow you to receive reimbursement for session costs directly from your health insurance provider. 

You can facilitate this agreement process by either locating the out-of-network exception request form on your health insurance company's website or member portal, or by contacting a representative at your insurance company and requesting they send you the form. You and your therapist will collaborate to complete the request form, providing rationale to support the out-of-network exception request based on your needs and your therapist's specialized training and certifications.

After your insurance company approves the submitted form, we're all set! Reclaiming Beauty will charge the session fee to the payment method associated with your account on the day of your therapy appointment. Your therapist will create a superbill for you (weekly or monthly, depending on your preference) detailing the session fees. You can submit this to your insurance company for reimbursement, which they will send directly to you.
